Our Journey 

I spent much of my childhood playing on a small private beach in New

England. The background of my life was colorfully painted by sunrises

and sunsets along the vast horizon of sky and sea.

In this wonderland of Mother Nature I often wandered along the shoreline

while collecting sea glass, shells, and unique pebbles; Treasures from far

away lands of times gone by, had tumbled and washed ashore through the

ocean’s ever-changing tides.

These small organic gems inspired the story of my life.

After many years with a family of my own, my life’s journey brought me to

India. There, we immersed ourselves in the spiritually rich culture of music,

yoga, dance, arts and crafts.

Watching Indian artisans with antique tools in their hands delicately create

bright masterpieces of jeweled art from rough gemstones and metals

intrigued me.

I began choosing some of their most attractive and unique jewelry designs

to help the artisans, and to distribute these treasures wholesale throughout

America.

We then returned to Boston and Esprit Creations was born in 1989. I

wanted our name to reflect the spirit of our work, our eclectic style, and the

essence of our intention; To offer uniquely meaningful pieces of wearable

art that celebrate empowerment, confidence, and wellbeing that not only

help independent retailers, but also gives back to the artisans.

’Esprit’ means ‘Spirited’ in French. Esprit Creations began from one

suitcase filled with selected treasures from the Indian artisan’s hand-

crafted jewelry pieces.

From my childhood pastime of finding unique sea glass and stones, I had

developed a natural ability to select the best quality and richest color ofgenuine gemstones from the earth. I decided to become a certified

gemologist (GIA) to reinforce my work and my love of natural treasures

and gems.

As my three children grew up I became more involved in going on road

trips to sell our Esprit Creations jewelry line. While meeting store owners to

show them our jewelry, I observed what jewelry they were most excited

about, and what sort of gemstones they preferred.

Inspired by our customers and the uplifting energy of the gemstones, I

began creating my own jewelry designs in order to offer the best stones

and styles that would sell quickly for them. I worked with the same

artisans in India, showing them my ideas for making more attractive, yet

affordable pieces for my customers.

I’ve also been traveling around Italy connecting with my family roots. The

picturesque landscapes and romantic ambience penetrates my very

being. The dramatic beauty in both ancient cultures of Italy and India has

inspired a renaissance within me that is expressed into our jewelry

designs.

My daughter, Jamuna creates designs that are uniquely detailed with

engravings imbued with the spirit of empowerment. Having immersed

herself in the culture of yoga, music and travel, her style and

conscientiousness has brought Esprit Creations jewelry to another level in

aesthetic essence. Our customers adore her designs, and their customers

can’t get enough of them. By working together as a mother-daughter

design team, our jewelry designs appeal to multi-generations.

We established a wholesale-only website to make the buying experience

pleasant, fast, and easy for store owners. It is our passion to keep evolving

with new designs to make your store stand out with exclusive pieces.

Esprit Creations is grateful for our good fortune. We love to give back to

share our blessings. In appreciation, we support care projects for

children’s education and animal welfare in India and America.We honor our artisans whom we have worked closely with for over 35

years. We celebrate their holidays and attend their family gatherings with

them. We respect, grow and work in harmony together. From our Artisans,

to Esprit Creations, to our customers, we build a bridge of trust by helping

each other prosper and evolve.
